Gledhill Repairs

Whether you have a Gledhill Pulsacoil, Boilermate, Systemate, Gulfstream or Torrent, you can be sure that our engineers can resolve your problems. At Midland Boilercare, we have been specialising in the repair and installation of Gledhill appliances for more than 12 years, and have a wealth of knowledge. All of our engineers carry a range of spare parts on their van to complete the majority of repairs in one visit. We only use genuine Gledhill spare parts, and any parts replaced carry a 12 month warranty. Simple things to check before you contact us. Pulsacoil models

  1. Check that you still have power to the unit (look for a green light on the front of the Pulsacoil)
  2. Check to see if the red warning light on the front has come on (this means that the unit has overheated and has shut down into a safety position)
  3. Make sure the grey tank on the top of the unit is half full with water

Boilermate models

  1. Firstly, try running a hot water tap to see if this is ok, secondly, try the central heating independently to see if the radiators are coming on (this will help us to identify if you have a problem with the unit itself, the radiators, or the central heating boiler)
  2. Check that the boiler has not shut itself down (look for any warning or flashing lights on the boiler) and that the boilers thermostat is set to maximum
  3. Make sure the grey tank on the top of the unit is half full with water

Systemate models

  1. Firstly, try running a hot water tap to see if this is ok, secondly, try the central heating independently to see if the radiators are coming on (this will help us to identify if you have a problem with the unit itself, the radiators, or the central heating boiler)
  2. Check that you have adequate pressure in your central heating system (usually between 1.0 -1.5 on the pressure gauge)
  3. Check that the boiler has not shut itself down (look for any warning or flashing lights on the boiler) and that the boilers thermostat is set to maximum
  4. Make sure the grey tank on the top of the unit is half full with water
